Why are so many people protesting the Immigration Bill? Don't we want people to stop coming here illegally? Are these people protesting because they want people to sneak into the borders? Huh? Can someone explain this?

People who protest against immigration bills generally don't really understand the cause and effect of illegal immigration. Many are naive, or feel that because one country poor, it is the responsibility of richer countries to bear that burden by accepting and granting amnesty to them. It does a disservice to legal immigrants by not deporting the illegals.

Charles Krauthammer wrote an article today that I totally agree with. I think. I only read it once.
Because the bills are unfair and won't really help fix the problem. How about a bill to hold mega corporations and small businesses responsible for the illegal hiring practices they use when they pay someone (illegal or not) less than minimum wage?
how about not hiring illegal workers and deporting illegals? It is afterall, "illegal".
where will I put 11 million illegal bodies?
